30-year old ENG-AUSn forward Obi Kyei (206-F-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sydney City Comets and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 46.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Albury W.B. (#5, 13-7) 99-86. Sydney City Comets maintains the 7th position in their group in the Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sydney C. will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. In the team's last game Kyei had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Sydney City Comets, through which he has constantly improved. Obi Kyei averages this season 19.8ppg and 10.9rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Joel Murray (183-PG-1999, agency: Slash Sports) of Mandurah Magic. He is American guard in his first season at Mandurah M.. In the last game Murray recorded an impressive 41 points and 9 assists. Bad luck as Magic lost that game 100-115 to the higher-ranked Geraldton B. (#1, 19-2). This loss caused Mandurah to drop to 7th position in West. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 12-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Murray is one of the most experienced players at Mandurah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.9ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.7rpg and 7.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Chris Bryant (203-C/F-1992) of Hills Hornets (#8). Bryant got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Hills Hornets, leading his team to a 102-74 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Norths B. (#10, 10-10). Hills H. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in East. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 9 lost games. Bryant has a great season in Australia. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.5ppg (6th best).
