37 points scored by 33 year old American point guard Bryton Hobbs (183-PG-1991, college: Northeastern St.) gave him the award of second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Diamond Valley Eagles lost to the Kilsyth Cobras 79 to 80. On top of that he also recorded 7 rebounds that evening.
He is a very experienced player. He is quite the traveller as his pro career brought him to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Australia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Hungary (Hubner Nyiregyhaza BS), Lithuania (Jonava), NBA Summer League (Boston Celtics), The Basketball Tournament (DaGuys STL), and Albania (Teuta).
Among many awards Hobbs' team was the regular season runner-up in the Hungarian B Division Group Red in 2020. Hobbs was selected to the Australiabasket.com All-Australian SBL First Team back in 2015. He was also selected as the Australian SBL All-Star Game back in 2016.
