Center Glenn Morison (208-C-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Canberra Basketball, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 47.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed HKBA Spiders (#14, 3-17) with 17-point margin 91-74. It allowed Canberra B. to consolidate first place in the Australian NBL One. Canberra B. has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 18-2. Morison has many years of experience at Canberra B., through which he has constantly improved. Glenn Morison averages this season 18.6ppg and 10.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Mason Peatling (203-F-1997) of Dandenong Rangers. Peatling had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Dandenong Rangers to edge the lower-ranked NW Tasmania (#14, 9-13) 81-75. This victory allowed Dandenong R. to move up to 6th position in South. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 13-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Peatling is one of the most experienced players at Dandenong R. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Bryton Hobbs (183-PG-1991) of Diamond Valley Eagles (#17). Hobbs got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Hobbs' great performance the Diamond Valley Eagles lost 79-80 to slightly higher-ranked Kilsyth C. (#15, 7-15). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Diamond V.E. can only dream about fighting for top spots in South. They have rather bad season and 6-16 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Hobbs has a very solid season. In 12 games in Australia he scored 19.8ppg. He also has 4.3rpg and 4.8apg.
