American Point guard Anthony Williams (178-PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Keysborough Cougars, receiving a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (43 points, four rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Bellarine (#8, 9-10) with 18-point margin 122-104. It allowed Cougars to take over top position in the Australian Big V. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Keysborough has a very solid 14-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 63.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Cougars, through which he has constantly improved. Former Clark Atlanta University star has very solid stats this year. Williams is in league's top in assists (5th best: 5.1apg). Worth to mention Williams played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was Jackson Dean (F) of Camberwell Dragons. Dean had a very good evening with a double-double of 35 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Camberwell lost that game 107-112 to slightly higher-ranked Blackburn (#10, 5-13). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Camberwell dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (11th) position. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Camberwell managed to get this year. Dean is one of the most experienced players at Camberwell and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Mongolian forward Steve Wooten Jr. (198-F-1998) of McKinnon Cougars (#3). Wooten Jr. got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of Cougars, leading his team to a 117-99 easy win against #4 ranked Hume City in a game of the week. McKinnon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 6 lost games. Wooten Jr. has a great season in Australia. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.7ppg (9th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
