Townsville Fire (WNBL) signed 23-year old American point guard Jacy Sheldon (178cm-2000, college: Ohio State) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Dallas Wings (WNBA). In 24 games just recently she had 5.1ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.8apg.
This summer she was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) as #5 pick overall.
The former Ohio State standout is in her first season in pro basketball. Sheldon's team won Big Ten Regular Season in 2024. Sheldon was voted to WBCA NCAA Division I All-America Honorable Mention in 2024.
