Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Mandurah between third ranked Tigers (15-7) and seventh ranked Magic (13-9) on Friday night. Tigers were crushed by Magic on the road 110-88. Mandurah made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Michael Durr (213-1998, college: UCF) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds. The other American import point guard Joel Murray (183-1999, college: LBSU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 37 points (!!!) and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Marshall Nelson (184-1994, college: Wayland Baptist) who recorded 9 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mandurah moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Willetton T. at the other side dropped to the second position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
Leader Buccaneers delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 13th ranked Redbacks (5-17) 107-76 in Northbridge. It was a good game for guard Johny Narkle (198-2001) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Joshua Keyes contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Greek center Ioannis Dimakopoulos (218-1994, college: UC Irvine) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Perth R.Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Geraldton B. maintains first position with 20-2 record. Perth R. at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Cockburn C..
The game in Morley supposed to be also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Giants (13-9) played at the court of seventh ranked Eagles (13-9). Eagles smashed Giants 102-71 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Giants. Worth to mention a great performance of Sebit Reath who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Randy Bell with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Giants' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. East Perth E. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Goldfields G..

Rest of the games of round 48 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Perry Lakes H. crushed Cockburn C. in Floreat 118-92. Warwick S. was beaten by Lakeside L. at home 85-92. Rockingham F. destroyed SW Slammers on the opponent's court 97-72. Joondalup W. outscored Kalamunda ES in a home game 111-63.

There was no surprise in Hamilton Hill where 13th ranked Cougars (5-17) were crushed by ninth ranked Hawks (9-13) 118-92 on Friday. Perry Lakes H. shot 62.5 percent from the field. Perry Lakes H. had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Perry Lakes H. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Luke Phillips (208-1999, college: ULM) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds and American Abrom DeQuan (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) who added 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) during the contest.
