American Michael Durr (213-C-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Mandurah Magic and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 48.
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 26 points and 19 rebounds, while his team crushed Willetton T. (#3, 15-7) with 22-point margin 110-88. Magic is placed at 5th position in Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mandurah will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Durr had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Magic, through which he has constantly improved. University of Central Florida graduate has very impressive stats this year. Durr leads league in rebounds with 15.0rpg. Durr is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg and 54.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American shooting guard De'Quan Abrom (188-SG-1996) of Perry Lakes Hawks. Abrom impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Hawks to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked BB Cougars (#13, 5-17) 118-92. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in West. Perry Lakes H. keeps 9th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-13 record. Abrom is one of the most experienced players at Perry Lakes H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Mandurah M.'s star - American Joel Murray (183-PG-1999, agency: Slash Sports). Murray got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. He was another key player of Mandurah Magic, helping his team with a 110-88 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Willetton T. (#3, 15-7). Magic needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in West. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 9 lost games. Murray has a great season in Australia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 34.1ppg (best scorer) and assists with 7.3apg (8th best). He also has 2.4spg, a FGP of 59.8% and 3PT: 41.6%.
