35 points scored by 26 year old Italian forward Jacob Rigoni (198-F-1998, college: Quinnipiac) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Sturt Sturt Sabres beat the W.Adelaide Bearcats 100 to 81. He also added 6 rebounds that evening.
He has played previously professionally in Germany (Duesseldorf).
Among many awards his team made it to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals in 2018 and 2022. Rigoni was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team back in 2021. He was also selected to the MAAC All-Tournament Team in 2022.
