South East Melbourne Phoenix (NBL) added to their roster 24-year old USA international forward Matt Hurt (206cm-97kg-2000, college: Duke) for season 2024-25. He played last season at Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. In 8 games he recorded 4.0ppg and 2.0rpg. He also played for another NBA team, the Grizzlies, where in 8 games he averaged 4.0ppg and 2.0rpg. The other team he played for that season was another NBA team, the Grizzlies. In 8 games he had 4.0ppg and 2.0rpg. Another team he played for briefly was another NBA team, the Grizzlies.
Hurt has been a member of the USA international program for some years. He played for the USA senior team this year and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2018.
Hurt represented USA at the McDonald's All American Games Nominee five years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 14 ppg and had 5.3 rpg.
He has played previously professionally in the NBA G League (Memphis Hustle) and NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks).
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the ACC in 2020. Hurt was voted the USBWA All-District III Player of the Year back in 2021 during his college time.
He graduated from Duke University in 2021 and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player.
