American Forward Kavione Green (195-F) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bellarine Storm and receives a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 31 rebounds, while his team crushed Western PS (#12, 4-17) with 19-point margin 110-91. Storm maintains the 8th position in Australian Big V. Bellarine is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-11 record. In the team's last game Green had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Storm, through which he has constantly improved. Bloomfield College of Montclair State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Green is in league's top in points (5th best: 23.7ppg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 57.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Adetomi Ayilara (208-F-1998) of top-ranked Wyndham Devils. He is a forward in his 5th season at Wyndham. In the last game Ayilara recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Devils to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Camberwell (#11, 5-15) 108-86. This victory allowed Wyndham to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team has currently 15-5 record. Ayilara is one of the most experienced players at Wyndham and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Gerrard Newby (196-F-1995) of Keysborough Cougars (#3). Newby scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Newby's great performance the Cougars lost 90-93 to the lower-ranked Pakenham (#6, 11-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Keysborough needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 14 victories and 7 lost games. Newby has a great season in Australia. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.9ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best).
