23-year old American guard Elijah Pepper (193-G-2001) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Warwick Senators and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 48 points adding five rebounds and eight assists for Warwick S. in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Joondalup W. (#8, 2-2) 102-98. It allowed Senators to take over top position in the Australian NBL One. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Warwick S. already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Pepper had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got ten three-pointers out of 21 attempts. He just recently signed at Senators, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California - Davis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Pepper is league's best scorer averaging so far 49.7ppg. Pepper is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 78.6% FGP and 49.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Sam Freeman (208-F/C-2001, agency: Haylett Sports) of league's second-best Mandurah Magic. He is American forward in his first season at Mandurah M.. In the last game Freeman recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. It was enough for Magic to edge Cockburn (#14, 0-4) by 5 points 100-95. This victory allowed Mandurah to move up to second position in west. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Freeman is one of the most experienced players at Mandurah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Emmett Naar (185-G-1994) of Rockingham Flames (#3). Naar scored 24 points and passed 6 assists. He was a key player of Flames, leading his team to a 104-102 win against the lower-ranked Willetton T. (#6, 2-1). Rockingham F. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in west. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Naar has a very solid season. In 2 games in Australia he scored 25.0ppg.
