38 points scored by 28 year old guard Gabe Hadley (193-G-1998) resulted in being the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Wildcats lost to the Nunawading Spectres 91 to 95. On top of that he also recorded 5 rebounds and 5 assists that evening. He is the 7th best scorer in the league averaging almost 26 points and 4 rebounds per game. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 9 out of 10 best scorers graduated the US schools.
He has played previously for two other Australian teams: Bullets and United.
Among many awards he was selected to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL1 First Team in 2023.
