Experienced American Shannon Fowler (203-F/C-1993) had a great game in the last round for McKinnon Cougars and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 31-year old power forward got a double-double of 14 points and 11 assists, while his team crushed Sunbury (#6, 3-2) with 18-point margin 103-85. Cougars is placed at 3rd position in Australian Big V. They are still close to the very top. McKinnon would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Fowler just recently signed at Cougars, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Shannon Fowler averages this season 10.4ppg, 7.8rpg and 4.2apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Canadian guard Joshua Yorke-Frazer (183-G-1995) of Sunbury Jets. Yorke-Frazer impressed basketball fans with 45 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Jets lost that game 100-107 to the higher-ranked RMIT (#1, 5-1). This loss caused Sunbury to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Yorke-Frazer is a newcomer at Sunbury and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.6ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 4.2apg. Seneca College alumni Yorke-Frazer played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American Michael Reeves (205-F/C-2000) of Camberwell Dragons (#11). Reeves scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Reeves' great performance the Camberwell lost 89-98 to the higher-ranked Melbourne Uni (#5, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Camberwell can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. Reeves has individually a great season in Australia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.5rpg (#1 in league). Reeves attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

4. Josh Uhr-Henry) of RMIT - 22 points and 13 rebounds
5. Jamir Moultrie (185-G-1997) of Melbourne Uni - 31 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
