55 points scored by 30 year old forward Jack Purchase (203-F-1995, college: Hawaii) gave him the award of highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Tigers lost to the Eltham Wildcats 85 to 87. He also grabbed 6 rebounds that game. Purchase is the 10th best scorer in the league averaging almost 24 points and almost 7 rebounds per game. The best players in the league are US college alumni. Just on the list of the top 10 best scorers we have 9 out of 10 players, who had college careers.
He has played previously for four other Australian teams: Adelaide 36ers, Forestville Eagles, Chargers and Wildcats.
He was also selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Indian INBL First Team in 2025.
His team was the regular season runner-up in the Australian NBL1 in 2022.
