Ned Carr had an amazing evening in the last round for Pakenham Warriors, receiving a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 6.
The player had a double-double of 28 points and 22 rebounds, while his team beat Melbourne Uni (#6, 4-4) 89-81. Warriors maintains the 8th position in Australian Big V. Pakenham is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Carr just recently signed at Warriors, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ned Carr has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 22.6ppg) and averages impressive 3.0bpg and 53.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Zachary Coleman-Bock (201-C-1997) of RMIT University. Coleman-Bock had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Redbacks was edged by the lower-ranked Wyndham (#9, 2-5) 92-90. RMIT managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Coleman-Bock is one of the most experienced players at RMIT and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Sean Conway (196-G-2001, agency: Warren Sports International) of Camberwell Dragons (#12). Conway got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . Despite Conway's great performance the Camberwell lost 86-97 to the higher-ranked Keysborough (#1, 7-1). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Camberwell can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 7 games. Conway has a very solid season. In 2 games in Australia he scored 24.0ppg.
