45 points scored by 28 year old guard Matthew Kenyon (196-G-1998) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Thunder beat the Ipswich Force 127 to 116. He also added 11 rebounds and 6 assists that evening.
He has played previously professionally in Australia (Excellence, Miners, Bullets, Crusaders and Rangers), and NBA G League (Capital City Go-Go and South Bay Lakers).
His team made it to the NBL Semifinals in 2023 and 2025.
Among many awards he was selected as the Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL1 Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
