International Guard Matthew Kenyon (196-G-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Logan Thunder, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Gold Coast R. (3-4) 110-98. Thunder is placed at 7th position in Australian NBL One. Logan T. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. In the team's last game Kenyon had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Thunder, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Matthew Kenyon averages this season 23.6ppg, 9.7rpg and 5.0apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jalen Graham (206-F-2001) of Rockhampton Rockets. Graham had a very good evening with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Rockets to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked SD Spartans (#10, 2-4) 117-96. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in north. Rockhampton dropped in the standings to 9th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Graham is one of the most experienced players at Rockhampton and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was French swingman Julian Pesava (193-G/F-1995) of Mandurah Magic (#7). Pesava got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and five assists. Despite Pesava's great performance the Magic lost 115-120 to slightly lower-ranked Perry Lakes H. (#8, 6-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Mandurah needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the west. Their record is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Pesava has a very solid season. In 13 games in Australia he scored 23.8ppg. He also has 6.7rpg, 5.2apg and 2.1spg. Julian Pesava has also Australian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
