Experienced Naturalized Belgian Marshall Nelson (184-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kalamunda Eastern Suns and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 30-year old guard had a double-double of 50 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Perth R. (#11, 5-9) 106-91. Suns is placed at 8th position in Australian NBL One. Kalamunda ES is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-7 record. In the team's last game Nelson had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got eight three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Suns, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Marshall Nelson averages this season 24.1ppg, 6.3rpg and 4.4apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young South Sudanese guard Kuany Kuany (201-G-1994) of Townsville Heat. Kuany impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 36 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Townsville Heat cruised to a 103-95 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked SD Spartans (#10, 3-5). Townsville H.'s 6th position in north has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Kuany is one of the most experienced players at Townsville H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Tom Wilson (195-G-1997) of Melbourne Tigers (#5). Wilson got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Tigers, leading his team to a 85-78 win against the higher-ranked Knox R. (#1, 13-2). Melbourne T. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in south. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Wilson has a great season in Australia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.4ppg (8th best). He also has a FGP of 65.7% and 3PT: 44.0%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
