Narkle's 53-point game gives him NBL One Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

23-year old guard Johny Narkle (199-G-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Geraldton Buccaneers and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had the game-high 53 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Geraldton B. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Goldfields G. (#6, 7-7) with 47-point margin 135-88. Buccaneers maintains the 4th position in their group in the Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Geraldton B. will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game Narkle had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He has many years of experience at Buccaneers, through which he has constantly improved. Narkle has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 24.4ppg) and averages solid 1.3bpg,2.5spg and 66.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Obi Kyei (206-F-1994) of Sydney City Comets. He is naturalized British forward in his first (recently joined) season at Sydney C.. In the last game Kyei recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Sydney City Comets to another comfortable win 100-82 over the lower-ranked Albury W.B. (#15, 3-11) being unquestionably team leader. Sydney C.'s 3rd position in east has not changed. His team's 11-3 record is not bad at all. Kyei is one of the most experienced players at Sydney C. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Billy Parsons (198-F-2001) of Maitland Mustangs (#11). Parsons got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for seventeen rebounds . Despite Parsons' great performance the Mustangs lost 119-126 to the higher-ranked Manly Warr. (#6, 7-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Maitland ranking at the top of east, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Parsons could help Maitland M. to bring them higher in the standings. Parsons has a great season in Australia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.1rpg (5th best).
