American Swingman Lamar Patterson (196-G/F-1991) had a great game in the last round for Ipswich Force, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 45 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Mackay M. (#3, 6-4) 98-86. Force maintains the 7th position in their group in the Australian NBL One. Ipswich F. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. In the team's last game Patterson had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Force, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Pittsburgh star has very solid stats this year. Patterson is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.2ppg) and averages impressive 53.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Michael Harris (193-G-1999) of Frankston Blues. Harris had a very good evening with a double-double of 40 points and 12 assists. Bad luck as Blues was edged by the lower-ranked Dandenong R. (#19, 4-13) 104-103. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in south. Frankston B. dropped in the standings to 12th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-9 record. Harris is one of the most experienced players at Frankston B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.6ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 7.4rpg and 5.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Emmett Naar (185-G-1994) of league's top team Rockingham Flames. Naar got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and six assists. He was a key player of Flames, leading his team to a 108-106 win against #2 ranked Warwick S. in a game of the week. Rockingham F. confirms their top position in west. Naar has a great season in Australia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 8.6apg (2nd best).
