American Guard Sean Conway (196-G-2001, agency: Warren Sports International) put on an amazing game in the last round for Camberwell Dragons, receiving a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 42 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Melbourne Uni (#7, 7-8) 96-89. Camberwell is placed at 8th position in Australian Big V. Camberwell is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-9 record. In the team's last game Conway had a remarkable 72.2% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Camberwell, through which he has constantly improved. Former St. John's University star has very solid stats this year. Conway is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.8ppg. Conway is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.6rpg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 60.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Croatian Ivan Platenik (201-F-1983) of Blackburn Vikings. Platenik had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 17 rebounds. It was enough for Vikings to edge the higher-ranked RMIT (#4, 10-6) 105-103. Despite this victory they still are the league outsider. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Vikings managed to get this year. Platenik is one of the most experienced players at Blackburn and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Malik McKinney (190-G) of Bellarine Storm (#9). McKinney got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and eight assists. Despite McKinney's great performance the Storm lost 95-118 to the higher-ranked Keysborough (#1, 13-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Bellarine not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, McKinney could try to bring Bellarine's a little bit higher in the standings. McKinney has individually a great season in Australia. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (7th best) and assists with 4.5apg (7th best). He also has a FGP of 53.2% and 3PT: 47.2%.
