Brisbane Bullets (NBL) have signed 29-year-old USA e188cm point guard Jaylen Adams (college: St.Bonaventure) for the new season. He was the top scorer at Al Ahly Tripoli in the Libyan D1 league. In 10 Basketball Africa League games he recently played, he averaged an impressive 16.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.7apg, and 1.2spg last season. He helped them win the Basketball Africa League championship. Adams can count that season as very successful as he was awarded Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Import Player of the Year and voted to Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League First Team. Last season, he played for the Kings. He was a member of the USA Senior National Team back in 2020.
Adams is a very experienced player, having played in six different countries on four continents during his pro basketball career. He has experience in European, Asian, Australian, and North American leagues. Adams has played for teams in China (Flying Leopards and Eagles), Greece (Promitheas), Serbia (Crvena zvezda), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks), NBA Summer League (Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls), and NBA G League (Wisconsin Herd).
Among many awards, he received the Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Player of the Year award back in 2022.
He graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2018 and it'll be his 8th season in pro basketball.
