Ned Carr, agency: Dominion Sports Group) had a great game in the last round for Pakenham Warriors and receives a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Sunbury (#9, 6-12) 120-115. Warriors maintains the 5th position in Australian Big V. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pakenham will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Carr had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. Carr has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 23.0ppg), rebounds (8th best: 9.9rpg) and averages solid 2.5bpg and 53.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Oliver Stanley (196-F/C-1994) of Melbourne University. He is British forward in his first season at Melbourne Uni. In the last game Stanley recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 21 rebounds. Of course Melbourne Uni cruised to a 97-87 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Pakenham (#5, 10-8). Melbourne Uni's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Stanley is one of the most experienced players at Melbourne Uni and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard James Legan (190-G-1987) of Blackburn Vikings (#12). Legan got into 30-points club by scoring 49 points in the last round. He went also for twelve rebounds . He was a key player of Vikings, leading his team to a 111-108 win against slightly higher-ranked Wyndham (#11, 5-13). Blackburn can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 3-16 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Legan has individually a great season in Australia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.9ppg (2nd best).
