24-year old American guard Elijah Pepper (193-G-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Warwick Senators and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had the game-high 59 points adding four rebounds and nine assists for Warwick S. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass SW Slammers (#14, 1-19) with 51-point margin 130-79. Senators maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Australian NBL One. They are still close to the very top. Warwick S. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 16-4 record. In the team's last game Pepper had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He has many years of experience at Senators, through which he has constantly improved. University of California - Davis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Pepper is league's best scorer averaging so far 36.3ppg. Pepper is in league's top in assists (4th best: 7.3apg) and averages solid 2.1spg and 66.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Lachlan Bertram (183-PG-2001) of Mandurah Magic. He is a guard in his first (recently joined) season at Mandurah M.. In the last game Bertram recorded an impressive 51 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Magic lost that game 95-110 to the higher-ranked Rockingham F. (#1, 17-3). Mandurah managed to keep the same 6th spot in west. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 10-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bertram is one of the most experienced players at Mandurah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Isaac White (188-G-1998) of league's leader Rockingham Flames. White got into 30-points club by scoring 47 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds and nine assists. He was a key player of Flames, leading his team to a 105-102 win against #4 ranked Willetton T. in a game of the week. Rockingham F. confirms their top position in west. White has a great season in Australia. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.8ppg (2nd best). He also has a FGP of 57.0% and 3PT: 40.2%.
