American Guard Sean Conway (196-G-2001, agency: Warren Sports International) had a very impressive game in the last round for Camberwell Dragons, receiving a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 43 points and 15 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Sunbury (#9, 7-12) 99-102. Camberwell maintains the 8th position in Australian Big V. Camberwell is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 11th lost game this season out of 18 games. In the team's last game Conway had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Camberwell, through which he has constantly improved. Former St. John's University star has very solid stats this year. Conway is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.8ppg and leads league in rebounds with 12.3rpg. Conway is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.2spg and 62.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Malik McKinney (190-G) of Bellarine Storm. McKinney had a very good evening with 39 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Storm lost that game 85-99 to the higher-ranked RMIT (#5, 11-9). Bellarine is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-14 record. McKinney is one of the most experienced players at Bellarine and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 5.5rpg and 4.6apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Ryan Batte (198-F-1999) of Shepparton Gators (#6). Batte got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. He was a key player of Gators, leading his team to a 90-89 win against the higher-ranked Hume City (#2, 15-4). Shepparton needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 9 lost games. Batte has a great season in Australia. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 10.2rpg (7th best). He also has 2.3spg, a FGP of 54.5% and 3PT: 43.9%.
