New Zealand Breakers (NBL) added 26-year-old American guard Izaiah Brockington (college: Iowa State) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He most recently played for LA Clippers in the NBA Summer League. In the two games he played, he recorded only 1.0ppg, 1.0rpg, and 1.0spg last season.
He is a very experienced player. Brockington has played professionally in Canada (Bandits), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans), NBA G League (San Diego Clippers and Birmingham Squadron), Canada, NBA Summer League (New Orleans Pelicans), and The Basketball Tournament (HV Hoopers).
In addition to being regular season runner-up in Atlantic 10 in 2018, his team also won many awards. He was voted All-Big 12 Newcomer of the Year in 2022 during his college career.
Brockington graduated from Iowa State in 2022 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like The Pennsylvania State University and St. Bonaventure University.
