Central District Lions made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Woodville Warriors' players. Guard Koen Sapwell (193-1999, college: CS Monterey) nailed a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and Efemena Abogidi accounted for 16 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Bryce Sloan (193, college: Azusa Pacific) came up with 23 points and 4 steals and center Steven Parfitt (-2002) added 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Woodville Warriors in the defeat. Five Central District Lions and four Woodville Warriors players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Forward William Mayfield (-2000) stepped up and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Cameron Pender (199-2004) chipped in 17 points and 13 rebounds. Five Canberra B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Alexander Dickeson (191-2007) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and forward Che Brogan (198-2006) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
