Ned Carr, agency: Dominion Sports Group) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pakenham Warriors and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 16.
The had a double-double of 30 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Hume City (#2, 15-5) 89-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Warriors maintains the 4th position in Australian Big V. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pakenham will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. Carr has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. Carr has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 22.9ppg), rebounds (9th best: 10.1rpg) and averages solid 2.4bpg and 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Sean Conway (196-G-2001, agency: Warren Sports International) of Camberwell Dragons. Conway impressed basketball fans with 42 points and 6 rebounds. Bad luck as Camberwell lost that game 87-103 to the lower-ranked Blackburn (#12, 4-17). Camberwell is still in a red zone at 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-12 record. Conway is one of the most experienced players at Camberwell and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.6ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 11.9rpg and 3.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was Nathan Marshall (G) of Sunbury Jets (#9). Marshall showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 16 assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Marshall's great performance the Jets lost 99-108 to the higher-ranked Melbourne Uni (#5, 12-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Sunbury not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 13 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Marshall could try to bring Sunbury's a little bit higher in the standings. Marshall has individually a great season in Australia. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.9apg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ricardo Time (188-G) of Hume City - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Joel Rimes (196-F) of Melbourne Uni - 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
