Brisbane Bullets (NBL) signed 25-year-old American guard Javon Freeman-Liberty (191cm-79kg-1999, college: DePaul) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season with the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games recently, he had very impressive stats: 21.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.4apg, and 1.4spg. He also played for another NBA team, the Bulls, during the NBA season.
Freeman-Liberty is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Turkey (Manisa), the NBA (Toronto Raptors), the NBA G League (Raptors 905 Mississauga and Windy City Bulls), and the NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors).
In addition to his college team's success in the NBA G League Showcase Cup final in 2023, Freeman-Liberty was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team in 2020.
He graduated from De Paul University in 2022 and it'll be his fourth season as a pro player. Freeman-Liberty also played for Valparaiso University for 2 years.
