The standout performers of the 2025 NBL1 National Finals have been recognised, with the announcement of the prestigious All-Star Five across both the men’s and women’s competitions. Women’s All-Star Five Two players from the Cockburn Cougars headline the women’s selections, with Jessie Edwards (193-C-1995, college: Minnesota) and Sarah Mortensen (185-G/F-1997, college: Villanova) both rewarded for their dominant tournament performances. The Knox Raiders also featured strongly, with Alicia Froling (190-F-1996, college: SMU) and Kristy Wallace (180-PG-1996, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) earning spots after leading their side to the National championship. Rounding out the five was Leah Scott (183-PF-1993, college: Marshall) of the Logan Thunder, who was instrumental in her team’s strong Finals campaign. Women’s All-Star Five
Men’s All-Star Five In the men’s competition, the Canberra Gunners’ championship-winning performance was reflected with Glenn Morison (208-C-1999, college: St.Edward's) and William Mayfield (F-2000) both named to the All-Star Five. Tamuri Wigness (184-PG-2002) (Southern Districts Spartans) shone across the Finals with his dynamic guard play, while Tom Koppens (201-F-2003) (Sandringham Sabres) impressed with his consistency at both ends of the floor. Rounding out the selections was Johny Narkle (199-G-2001) of the Geraldton Buccaneers, whose impact was felt throughout the tournament.
