Perth Wildcats (NBL) signed 27-year-old American 193cm guard Mason Jones (college: Arkansas) for the upcoming season. He last played for Kings/137">Sacramento Kings in the NBA, averaging 2.3ppg and 1.1apg in 10 games. Jones had a successful year, winning USBasket.com All-NBA G League Finals MVP and Guard of the Year, and making the USBasket.com All-NBA G League Second Team. He also briefly played for the Kings in the NBA and NBA G League.
He is a very experienced player. Jones has played professionally in Turkey (Darussafaka Lassa), NBA (Houston Rockets, LA Lakers, and Philadelphia 76ers), Turkey, NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Stockton Kings, and Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico), and NBA Summer League (Washington Wizards and LA Lakers).
He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Jones played also for Connors State College for one year.
