33-year old American guard Bryce Cotton (182-G-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Adelaide 36ers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 28 points adding three rebounds and seven assists for Adelaide in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Cairns (#5, 2-2) with 31-point margin 110-79. Adelaide 36ers is placed at 3rd position in Australian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Adelaide won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Cotton had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Adelaide 36ers's top player in his first season with the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cotton is league's best scorer averaging so far 33.5ppg. Cotton is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.5apg) and averages solid 3.0spg,62.5% FGP and 58.8% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Javale McGee (213-C-1988) of Illawarra Hawks. He is American center in his first season at Illawarra H.. In the last game McGee recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Hawks lost that game 84-92 to Perth (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. McGee is a newcomer at Illawarra H. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.0ppg (#2). He also registered 13.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Josh Bannan (208-F-2001) of league's second-best Tasmania JackJumpers. Bannan scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of JackJumpers, leading his team to a 84-82 win against Brisbane (#8, 1-3). Tasmania JJ needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Bannan has a great season in Australia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (5th best).

4. Kendric Davis (183-PG-1999) of Sydney - 28 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
