American Dylan Windler (201-SF-1996) had a great game in the last round for Perth Wildcats, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Cairns (#5, 2-3) 80-77. Wildcats is placed at 3rd position in Australian NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Perth will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Windler had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Wildcats and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Belmont University star has very solid stats this year. Windler is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 10.5rpg) and averages impressive 69.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Parker Jackson-Cartwright (180-PG-1995) of New Zealand Breakers. Jackson-Cartwright had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 17 assists. Of course he led Breakers to another comfortable win outscoring Illawarra H. (#10, 0-3) 117-88. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But NZL Breakers left the very bottom place moving slightly to 9th position. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Breakers managed to get this year. Jackson-Cartwright is a newcomer at NZL Breakers, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Perth's star - South Sudanese center Jo Lual-Acuil (213-C-1994). Lual-Acuil got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was another key player of Perth Wildcats, helping his team with a 80-77 win against slightly lower-ranked Cairns (#5, 2-3). Wildcats needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Lual-Acuil has a great season in Australia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.8rpg (6th best). Jo Lual-Acuil has also Australian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
