Illawarra Hawks (NBL) released 27-year old American guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193cm-86kg-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports). Last season summer he played at Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta in Indonesian IBL where in 28 games he had very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 4.4rpg, 5.6apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. 2025-25 was a great year as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian League All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team and Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian League First Team. He played 4 games in Basketball Champions League Asia where he recorded also remarkable stats: 15.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 3.8apg.
McLaughlin is a very experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Asia, Australia, and North America). McLaughlin has played professionally in Indonesia, New Zealand (Nuggets), NBA (Dallas Mavericks), and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Texas Legends).
Among many awards, his college team won the Big West Tournament in 2021. He was also voted the All-Big West Player of the Year and made the Big West All-Tournament Team during 2021.
McLaughlin graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2021 and it is his fifth season as a professional player. He played also for Oregon State University for 2 years.
