Perth Wildcats (NBL) are close to signing 26-year-old USA ex-international guard David Duke Jr. (193cm-93kg-1999, college: Providence) who last played for San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. In 6 games, he averaged just 2.7ppg last season. He also played for another NBA team, the Spurs, where he recorded only 2.7ppg in 6 games.
He has played professionally in the NBA (Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Long Island Nets), and NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets). Duke was also voted to USBasket.com All-NBA G League All-Defensive Team in 2025.
He won the NBA G League Eastern Conference championship title in 2023.
Duke graduated from Providence College in 2021, and it'll be his fifth season as a pro player.
