International Forward Xavier Cooks (203-F-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sydney Kings, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Brisbane (#7, 4-7) with 37-point margin 116-79. Kings is placed at 5th position in Australian NBL. Sydney is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. It's Cooks' second year at Kings and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Xavier Cooks averages this season 12.1ppg and 7.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Jack McVeigh (203-F-1996) of Cairns Taipans. McVeigh had a very good evening with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Taipans lost that game 85-113 to slightly higher-ranked Brisbane (#7, 4-7). Despite lost game Cairns moved up to 9th position in the standings. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Taipans managed to get this year. McVeigh is a newcomer at Cairns, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Sydney's star - Brazilian center Tim Soares (211-C-1997). Soares scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was another key player of Sydney Kings, helping his team with a 116-79 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Brisbane (#7, 4-7). Kings needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Soares has a great season in Australia. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (9th best). He also has a FGP of 67.8% and 3PT: 45.5%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
