Cotton's 36-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American guard Bryce Cotton (182-G-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Adelaide 36ers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 36 points adding three rebounds and seven assists for Adelaide in his team's victory, helping them to beat Perth (#5, 11-10) 95-84. It allowed Adelaide 36ers to consolidate first place in the Australian league. Adelaide have a solid 17-4 record. In the team's last game Cotton had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Adelaide 36ers's top player in his first season with the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cotton is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.3ppg and is league's best passer with 7.8apg. Cotton is in league's top in and averages solid 2.2spg.

Second best performed player last round was Kendric Davis (183-PG-1999) of Sydney Kings. He is American guard in his first season at Sydney. Sydney's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 13-7 record is not bad at all. Davis is a newcomer at Sydney and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 4.1rpg and 5.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sydney's star - forward Xavier Cooks (203-F-1995). Cooks showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Sydney Kings, helping his team with a 108-84 easy win against the lower-ranked Illawarra H. (#8, 7-13). Kings needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 7 lost games. Cooks has a very solid season. In 20 games in Australia he scored 14.1ppg. He also has 6.9rpg, 3.1apg, 1.3bpg and a FGP of 63.4%.
