26-year old American point guard Kendric Davis (183-PG-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sydney Kings and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had the game-high 40 points adding two rebounds and eight assists for Sydney in his team's victory, helping them to beat Tasmania JJ (#6, 12-16) 105-94. Kings maintains the 3rd position in Australian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sydney will need more victories to improve their 18-9 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Kings's top player in his first season with the team. University of Memphis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.6ppg), assists (5th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 52.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bryce Cotton (182-G-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) of top-ranked Adelaide 36ers. He is American guard in his first season at Adelaide. In the last game Cotton recorded an impressive 33 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. It was enough for Adelaide 36ers to edge the lower-ranked NZL Breakers (#7, 10-17) by 2 points 112-110. Of course Adelaide still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 20-7 record. Cotton is a newcomer at Adelaide and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.7ppg (#1). He also recorded 7.7 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Sam Mennenga (206-F-2001) of New Zealand Breakers (#7). Mennenga scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Mennenga's great performance the Breakers lost 110-112 to the higher-ranked Adelaide (#1, 20-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of NZL Breakers not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mennenga could try to bring NZL Breakers' a little bit higher in the standings. Mennenga has individually a great season in Australia. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (8th best).
