American Forward Kristian Doolittle (201-F-1997, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Perth Wildcats, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, seven rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Cairns (#9, 9-22) 98-84. Wildcats is placed at 4th position in Australian NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Perth will need more victories to improve their 19-11 record. In the team's last game Doolittle had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Wildcats's top player in his first season with the team. Former The University of Oklahoma star has very solid stats this year. Doolittle is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 7.4rpg) and averages impressive 51.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international swingman Nick Marshall (198-F/G-1999) of Tasmania JackJumpers. Marshall had a very good evening with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led JackJumpers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Brisbane (#10, 6-25) 114-70. Tasmania JJ's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-17 record. Marshall is a newcomer at Tasmania JJ, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard William Hickey (194-G-1999) of Illawarra Hawks (#8). Hickey showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Hawks, leading his team to a 100-99 win against the higher-ranked Adelaide (#1, 22-9). The chances of Illawarra H. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 19 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hickey could try to bring Illawarra H.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Hickey has individually a great season in Australia. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.8apg (4th best). He also has 1.0bpg and a FGP of 55.3%.
