33-year old American guard Bryce Cotton (182-G-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Adelaide 36ers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
He had the game-high 42 points adding four rebounds and four assists for Adelaide in his team's victory, helping them to edge out NZL Breakers (#7, 12-20) 92-89. Adelaide 36ers maintains the 2nd position in Australian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Adelaide will need more victories to improve their 23-9 record. In the team's last game Cotton had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 16 attempts. He turned to be Adelaide 36ers's top player in his first season with the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cotton is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.7ppg. Cotton is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 7.6apg).

Second best performed player last round was Majok Deng (205-F-1993) of Tasmania JackJumpers. He is South Sudanese forward in his first season at Tasmania JJ. In the last game Deng recorded an impressive 36 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as JackJumpers lost that game 104-120 to the higher-ranked SE Melbourne (#3, 22-10). Tasmania JJ managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-18 record. Deng is a newcomer at Tasmania JJ and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kristian Doolittle (201-F-1997, agency: Pensack Sports) of Perth Wildcats (#4). Doolittle showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Wildcats, leading his team to a 94-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Brisbane (#10, 6-26). Perth needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 20 victories and 12 lost games. Doolittle has a great season in Australia. After 32 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (6th best).
