Goldfields Giants (NBL One) agreed terms with 28-year-old American forward Danny Pippen (206cm-101kg-1997, college: Kent State). He last played at Taipei Taishin Mars in Taiwanese TPBL in 2024. He missed last season and had a one-year break from professional basketball.
Pippen is a highly experienced player. Throughout his career, he has traveled to four different continents and played in six different countries. He has gained professional experience in Europe, Asia,, and North America. Pippen has played for teams in Finland (Kobrat), Greece (Lavrio), Lebanon (Maristes), New Zealand (Jets), and the NBA G League (Maine Celtics and Greensboro Swarm).
His team finished as the regular season runner-up in the MAC East Division in 2018. He was voted to the Australiabasket.com New Zealand NBL All-Imports Team in 2023.
Pippen graduated from Kent State in 2021 and is entering his fifth season as a professional player.
