Adelaide 36ers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Phoenix's 44. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 42 points (!!!) and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Zylan Cheatham (203-1995, college: Arizona St.) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Adelaide 36ers' coach Mike Wells allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Nathan Sobey (190-1990, college: Wyoming) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international guard Angus Glover (192-1998) added 14 points in the effort for Phoenix. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Kings made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 8 blocks. The game was dominated by American players. point guard Kendric Davis (183-1999, college: Memphis) fired 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Torrey Craig (198-1990, college: USC Upstate) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds.
