24-year old forward Atien Acuel (201-F-2001, agency: Crossover Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pakenham Warriors and receives a Hoops Agents Big V Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Wyndham (#11, 1-6) with 20-point margin 92-72. Warriors is placed at 3rd position in Australian Big V. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Pakenham will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Acuel had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Warriors, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Atien Acuel averages this season 12.0ppg and 7.2rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Lanyc Shuler (185-G) of Warrandyte Venom. He is American guard in his first season at Warrandyte. In the last game Shuler recorded an impressive triple-double of 30 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Bad luck as Venom was edged by the higher-ranked Gippsland Utd (#1, 5-1) 96-93. This loss caused Warrandyte to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Shuler is one of the most experienced players at Warrandyte and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 30.1ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.3rpg and 5.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Pakenham's star - forward Ryan Batte (198-F-1999, agency: Dominion Sports Group). Batte showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Pakenham Warriors, helping his team with a 92-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Wyndham (#11, 1-6). Warriors needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Batte has a great season in Australia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.5ppg (5th best). He also has 3.2spg and a FGP of 50.7%.
