28-year old guard Tom Wilson (195-G-1997) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Melbourne Tigers and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 32 points adding four rebounds and eight assists for Melbourne T. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Ballarat M. (#18, 1-9) with 26-point margin 108-82. It allowed Tigers to take over top position in the Australian NBL One. Melbourne T. have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Wilson had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Tigers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Tom Wilson averages this season 19.0ppg and 5.6apg.

Second best performed player last round was Jalen Graham (206-F-2001) of Rockhampton Rockets. He is American forward in his first season at Rockhampton R.. In the last game Graham recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Rockets to another comfortable win 104-85 over the higher-ranked Mackay M. (#7, 3-3) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Rockhampton to move up to 11th position in North. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Rockets managed to get this year. Graham is one of the most experienced players at Rockhampton and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Lino Manhom (213-F/C-1998) of Goldfields Giants (#12). Manhom scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Manhom's great performance the Giants lost 107-110 to the higher-ranked Rockingham F. (#1, 8-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Goldfields G. can only dream about fighting for top spots in West. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Manhom has a very solid season. In 8 games in Australia he scored 9.9ppg. He also has 10.0rpg, 1.3bpg and a FGP of 50.7%.
