Hume City Broncos (Big V) signed 26-year-old American 201cm swingman Markise Davis (college: Arkansas State, agency: Dominion Sports Group). He transferred from Immortals in LDC league in the Dominican Republic, where he began the season, but the plans were altered.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Davis is familiar with European, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in Finland (KTP-Basket), Luxembourg (Mess), Bosnia (Slavija), and North Macedonia (KK Feniks 2010 Skopje).
Among many awards, he won the Dominican Republic LDC championship title in 2025. Davis was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LDC Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from Arkansas State in 2023 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Davis played also for Wallace State Community College for 2 years.
