Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The biggest surprise of round 10 in NBL One was guest Hornsby S.'s (8-3) road victory over 5th ranked BA CoE (7-4) 90-79 on Sunday evening. Guard Jessie May-Hall (172-2007) fired 27 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward AyAnna Bey (188, college: Benedict) chipped in 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Isabel Smith (176-2009) produced 24 points for lost side. BA CoE's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hornsby S. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Casey. BA CoE at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Warwick S.. Hornsby S. is looking forward to face Canberra N. (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BA CoE will play against Newcastle F. (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Cairns. Top-ranked Dolphins (6-0) saved a 3-point victory at home edging their biggest opponent Meteorettes (6-2) 84-81 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Meteorettes. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Mia Loyd (181-1994, college: N.Dakota, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Brooke Basham contributed with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Forward Monique Bobongie (178-2006) replied with 27 points and 5 rebounds for Mackay. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Undefeated Dolphins have an impressive six-game winning streak. Cairns D. moved-up to second place. Mackay at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Cairns D. will play against Gold Coast R. (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mackay will play against Northside W. (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Mt Gambier between Cavaliers and Mount Gambier Pioneers. Fifth ranked Cavaliers (8-3) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Mount Gambier Pioneers (6-6). Cavaliers managed to escape with a 3-point win 84-81 on Saturday evening. Samantha Bowman had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Abby Prohaska responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Casey moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hornsby S. Loser Mount Gambier Pioneers dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Casey will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Mt Gambier will play against Ringwood (#19) and hope to secure a win.

SC Phoenix defeated Ipswich F. in a home game 78-74. Rockhampton C. was beaten by NGC Seahawks on the road 95-78. SW Metro P. lost to NGC Seahawks on its own court 68-75. SD Spartans managed to outperform Northside W. in Brisbane 73-65. Gold Coast R. recorded a loss to Rockhampton C. at home 80-90. Mackay defeated Townsville F. on the opponent's court 95-83. Brisbane C. was beaten by Northside W. in a home game 78-87. Geelong U. lost to Waverley F. on the road 67-72. Sandringham S. managed to outperform Kilsyth on its own court 79-73. Nunawading S. was outscored by Sandringham S. in a home game 56-85. Northern Force managed to beat Geelong U. on the road 88-80. Goldfields G. crushed Kalamunda ES on its own court 84-64. Warwick S. was smashed by Rockingham F. in a road game 99-76. Cockburn won against Perry Lakes H. at home 97-85. Lakeside L. unfortunately lost to SW Slammers on the opponent's court 64-68. East Perth E. managed to beat Joondalup W. in a home game 93-78. East Perth E. defeated Perry Lakes H. on the road 84-82. Mandurah beat Perth R. on its own court 96-84. Willetton T. was destroyed by Joondalup W. in a road game 104-62.

Sturt S. outrebounded S.Adelaide P. 58-38 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sturt S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by S.Adelaide P.'s players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sturt S. made 7 blocks. Power forward Tayla Brazel (182-2004) scored 9 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Paige Padroth (171-2005) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Sabres players scored in double figures. At the losing side Keira Gardiner responded with 6 points and 8 rebounds and guard Isabella Stratford (174-2001) scored 11 points. Naomi Allotey scored 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Nani Falatea (175, college: Oregon) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
