30-year old American forward C.J. Turnage (201-F-1995, agency: Dominion Sports Group) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves and receives a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Kalamunda ES (#5, 9-4) 124-118. Wanneroo maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Joondalup W. will need more victories to improve their 11-3 record. In the team's last game Turnage had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Wanneroo, through which he has constantly improved. C.J. Turnage averages this season 18.0ppg, 7.7rpg and 4.7apg.

Second best performed player last round was Nathaniel Pollard Jr. (196-F-2000, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) of Townsville Heat. He is American forward in his first season at Townsville H.. In the last game Pollard Jr. recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Townsville Heat to another comfortable win 110-92 over the higher-ranked Brisbane C. (#5, 6-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Townsville H. to move up to 9th position in North. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Pollard Jr. is one of the most experienced players at Townsville H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former University of Maryland Eastern Shore star Pollard Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Flynn Cameron (196-G-2000) of South West Metro Pirates (#13). Cameron got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for sixteen rebounds and seven assists. He was a key player of South West Metro Pirates, leading his team to a 122-111 win against slightly higher-ranked Rockhampton R. (#11, 2-8). SW Metro P. can only dream about fighting for top spots in North. They have rather bad season and 1-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. The season just started for Cameron as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
