Regular Season Round 12: Perth - Brisbane 92-95
Date: March 5, 2021
A very close game took place in Perth between Bullets and Perth Wildcats. Sixth ranked Bullets (7-6) got a very close victory on the road over one of their biggest challengers Perth Wildcats (7-4). Bullets managed to escape with a 3-point win 95-92 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Perth Wildcats. Bullets made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by international guard Nathan Sobey (190-90, college: Wyoming) who scored that evening 31 points and 4 assists and American Victor Law (198-95, college: Northwestern) supported him with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Even 29 points and 4 assists by American guard Bryce Cotton (182-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Perth Wildcats. His fellow American import forward John Mooney (206-98, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) added 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Perth Wildcats' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bullets will meet at home Adelaide 36ers (#5) in the next round. Perth Wildcats will have a break next round.
