Bottom-ranked New Zealand Breakers managed to get a fourth victory. This time they edged eighth-ranked Cairns Taipans in Auckland 76-73. Guinea-Bissau-American center Colton Iverson (212-89, college: Colorado St., agency: Pensack Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and New Zealand guard Tai Webster (193-95, college: Nebraska) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Cameron Oliver (203-96, college: Nevada) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Brazilian-American guard Scott Machado (186-90, college: Iona) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Cairns Taipans in the defeat. Cairns Taipans' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. New Zealand Breakers (4-7) moved-up to eighth place.
