Regular Season Round 13: Brisbane - Adelaide 109-104

Date: March 11, 2021
Rather expected game in Brisbane where 6th ranked Adelaide 36ers (7-9) were defeated by fourth ranked Bullets (8-6) 109-104 on Thursday. Bullets shot 60.6 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International guard Nathan Sobey (190-90, college: Wyoming) fired 30 points and 4 assists for the winners. American Victor Law (198-95, college: Northwestern) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) produced 29 points and 9 rebounds and international guard Joshua Giddey (203-2) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Adelaide 36ers' coach gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bullets moved-up to second place, which they share with Illawarra. Loser Adelaide 36ers keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Bullets will meet at home Kings (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Adelaide 36ers will play against Perth Wildcats and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
